THOSE WHO ENDURE TO THE END

ree

Salvation, deliverance, prosperity, and the materialization of all the spiritual blessings promised to the believer only happen for those who receive a clear and unambiguous word from God and stick to its terms and conditions until God fulfils His part of the arrangement.

'"Staying with it—that's what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won't be sorry, and you'll be saved.' - Matthew 24:13(MSG)

While many hold on with their dying breadth to government-issued promissory notes and others boast about the guarantee given by some wealthy individuals, fewer and fewer people know what it means to hear God, whether through the written word or some other means and then stake their very lives on His performance of that word.

Life is full of unknowns and grey areas; only God provides insurance for those who elect to partner with Him. He assures those parts beyond human ability, eliminating the risk elements in otherwise hyper-risky ventures.

'But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used. For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.' - Hebrews 10:32-36(KJV)

Sticking to man-made plans might get you in trouble, as might being rooted in a path you chose based on inherently faulty human data while mindlessly trudging on, hoping for the best, since no contingency provisions can make up for the holes you foresee.

On the other hand, faith in God is not blind faith or a wishful belief; it depends on someone else (God) to supply what one cannot.

In Genesis chapter 12:1-3, God gave Abraham a word; He detailed the expected end, and He outlined the actions to be taken by Abraham, which no Angel will help him with and the part that only God can do.

From verses 4-6, Abraham quickly obeyed, carrying out his part of the bargain. By verse 7, God was back again with more assurances to help Abraham stick with a plan whose success depended on God progressively updating it and course correcting until Abraham arrived at the promised destination.

Obstacles will undoubtedly appear: mountains, hills, red seas, stumbling blocks, contrary people, and many curved balls will come at you. But remember, the one who endures to the end will receive the goods waiting at the final destination.

Noah stuck with the program; Caleb and Joshua did the same; Ruth, Nehemiah, and even

Apostle Paul had to stay with plans with so many gaps that no sane person should risk their lives on such, yet these did, and they received God-sized rewards. Their courage and determination should inspire and motivate us in our faith journey.

Today, I urge you to seek God's word concerning your problems or desires. Once He tells you His plan(the beginning and the end), please commit to staying sensitive to updates and following the latest instructions without deviation until you arrive at the promised destiny.

If you stay until the end despite the scary noises, you will not miss your destiny nor lose your rewards in Jesus' name. God's promises are sure; we can expect them with hope and anticipation.
