THOSE WHO LOVE LIKE GOD

Today's challenge for believers is to give in to the Spirit wholly and continuously so the love He has shed abroad in our human spirit might continue to find outlets of expression in our daily lives. Only those who love unconditionally, like God, can become unstoppable in every venture.
God, the embodiment of love, has intricately designed the universe so that His all-powerful, all-present, and all-knowing essence, more accessible than the air we breathe, can only be truly experienced when one surrenders to His love. This love can transform even the most ordinary individual into a vessel of His divine presence.
Love is not just a human emotion; it is the very nature of God Himself. It is the only way His divine presence and Spirit can be made tangible in the physical form of a human being. This realization should bring comfort and a sense of belonging, knowing that we are vessels of His love.
As we delve into our reading for today, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, we are reminded that love (agape) is the only fruit in the entire world that the Holy Spirit, God Himself, enables our human spirit to produce. A natural man, by his strength, cannot generate the love of God. This understanding should ignite a fire, motivating us to strive for spiritual growth through love.
Here's an excerpt:
'Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, and I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.' - 1 Corinthians 13:8-13
In our bid to receive and become everything God envisioned, our ultimate win would be the commitment to being eaten by a fruit that came out of our Spirit. First, we produce it with the help of the Spirit, and then we allow this love to take over and control our lives.
Whether you take apostle Paul's account from Galatians 5:22-23 where he referred to love as the fruit of the spirit or the explanation from 1 Corinthians 13, we must conclude that love and all its component traits: joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance amongst others, are essential to our happiness, wellbeing, prosperity and fulfilment in life.
Motivational speakers, business leaders, and even academics, recognizing that success in any area of life is impossible without these love traits, developed a name for them, "soft skills," and then tried to teach people how to fake abilities that only God Himself enables.
Today, I pray you will let love find you and yield to the Holy Spirit entirely so your faith can become potent, your hopes can materialize, and the wealthy life you deserve can become yours in Jesus' mighty name.
