THOSE WHO OWN THE EARTH

ree
'For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. - Romans 4:13
'And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. ' - Genesis 13:14-17

Empire builders and other medieval explorers who built out what we know today as the map of the world defied the original occupants. On the contrary, they went because some monarch in a distant corner of the earth granted them the right over those places. Then, they formed companies, raised the capital, and dared to do whatever it took to possess their properties.

They sold shares of their new companies, and investors bought into their visions of what their yet-to-be-possessed land, which some would say already belonged to others, would become after they took it and developed it and the unimaginable wealth and profits they promised.

The paragraph above describes the template of the faith walk and work of the actual owners of this material universe.

-Who do you believe has the more extraordinary claim over the earth, God or the present occupant?

-Do you believe in the title He has given you and the value in that land enough to sell the vision to others and get others to go with you spiritually, mentally, financially, and physically?

-Assuming your title is valid, and the promises of God are genuine, and you are now the landlord of a piece of the earth that has illegal squatters as far as God is concerned, do you believe you have all it takes to take back your inheritance, now?

-Are you willing to leave the safety of wherever you are now to go to unknown places, risking not just all you've done so far in your life but your very life too?

-Are you confident enough to arise now and leave where you are and walk towards your future?

In the Bible's account of the journey of the majority of the tribes of Israel in Joshua chapters 16-19, we see people who failed to grasp the faith requirement needed to accept God's promises: trust, uncompromising obedience, and complete disregard for whatever or whoever gives evidence that is at odds with what God has not only promised you but has given you the title to. And so they kept picking fights with the wrong person and blaming the lack of materialization on everyone but themselves.

Today, I ask you the same question Joshua asked them:

'........How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you? - Joshua 18:3'

The troublemakers in most extended families are those who don't have possession of their inheritance, either because they never took it or sold it out for a pittance. Now, instead of banding with their family as each person fights outsiders and keeps building on what they inherited, they fight their family and keep relitigating the past that no one cares about.

James put it this way:

'You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. ' - James 4:2-3

Here is the dictionary meaning of the Greek word translated here as 'ask":

You have nothing because you're not fully committed to calling for or requiring what God has given you. Instead, you focus on what He has given to others, which they have since developed by doing the faith work. It's time to refocus and commit to your journey.

Those who own the earth take it. So take yours. It's time to step up and claim what is rightfully yours.

Today, receive the power in your mind and strength in your spirit to take all that the Father has given you in Jesus' mighty name.
