Our Bible Reading today is from Psalm 67:1-7 which shows the correlation between the brand of faith that abounds with praise and thanksgiving to God and the functioning of all of creation as God its creator intended.
Except here:
'Let the people praise thee, O God; Let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; And God, even our own God, shall bless us.-Psalm 67:5-6
Faith in God and His integrity, fidelity, faithfulness, and lovingkindness lead to endless praise from those who know Him, irrespective of the stage of their process regarding the reception of the object of their faith.
When you know that God loves you unconditionally, that his strongest desire is that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers and that he is committed to giving you the kingdom, anyone will overflow with praise and thanksgiving for such a benefactor which will, in turn, make His creations produce and supply all He has promised us.
Even Lucifer, an arch-cherub belonging to that exclusive band of celestial beings who praised God day and night, was a wonder full of apparent beauty, splendour, and glory until he let pride and arrogance topple him from his privileged place.
When you praise God continuously, He raises you continuously. It is that simple.
The psalmist expressed this sentiment when he said, 'I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me And delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: And their faces were not ashamed. ' - Psalm 34:1-5
When your committed strategy and approach to seeking and receiving all His benefits is through praise and thanksgiving, you can expect to receive not only the sought-after blessings but also His deliverance and protection. This truth should fill you with hope and expectation.
As we stand on His word and await His promises this month, let His praise and thanksgiving not depart from our hearts and mouths for a second. Let this continuous praise be our source of encouragement and motivation in Jesus' glorious name.
Let all God's praisers say a big Hallelujah!
