WE WHO BELIEVE WE RECEIVE

Today, we remind ourselves of our divine design: we can articulate intelligent words that resonate not only with our fellow human beings but also with the entire spectrum of God's creation.
Our words possess a potency that can trigger colossal events like atmospheric shifts or instigate subtle transformations like healing ailing bodies. Yet, many remain oblivious to this truth, relegating such potential to fiction. But let me assure you, they are mistaken.
Our text today is in Mark 11:20-26, where Jesus initiated and completed the drying up of a healthy tree the day before and educated his disciples about this hidden power that all humans have, wherein we can have anything we say.
Here is the most intriguing part of that conversation:
'And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. " - Mark 11:22-24
From the dawn of creation, human beings have been fashioned as mirror images of the Divine, bestowed with just enough spiritual prowess to navigate the material world without succumbing to its pressures.
We can love like God, think like God, and rule like God using our godlike imagination and power-filled words to galvanize the forces of nature, making them visible and invisible, and make the whole earth as God envisioned it.
I hope you will see the reason for researching the power of your imagination and words and practising using your superhuman abilities.
From today, may you receive everything you say in Jesus' mighty name.
